Metro Inn Ryde
A 3 star motor inn, about a 20 minute drive out of the city in a north-westerly direction. Ryde is midway between the city and Parramatta. Meadowbank railway station is nearby, where a ferry service, and a jetcat service operate to and from the city. The property has a friendly and welcoming restaurant and cocktail bar, conference and functions facilities, a garden-side pool and spacious, easy access parking (complimentary). The property is on Victoria Road and has easy access to the city, and Darling Harbour. Metro Inn Edgecliff
A 3 star motor inn, 3 kilometres east of the city, near Double Bay, Bondi Beach, and Kings Cross. A refurbishment was completed in February 2000. Many rooms have harbour views. The Edgecliff Rail and Bus Station is directly opposite, a train ride to the city takes just 4 minutes. A regular ferry service runs to and from the city to Double Bay, which is a short walk from the inn. The Metro Inn Edgecliff features a breakfast room overlooking Sydney Harbour. Parking on site is available and is complimentary. Major incentives for staying here include closeness to the city, and the bus and rail station, and Edgecliff Shopping Centre, being directly opposite.
